Keep pressing refresh to see the constant updates.

It is 10:55am on a sunny Southern California day and I am currently waiting for the Fedor vs. Rogers Media Conference Call taking place at 11:00am.

I will bring you live announcements as they are discussed and describe what the basis of the Media Conference Call is all about.

11:02am - The operator just announced that they are currently admitting more participants and they appreciate us holding.

11:07am - The operator came on again, with the same announcement. They are currently still waiting on participants.

While we wait and listen to the "hip" music they have for the members of the conference that were on time today, I'll attempt to get a question in for Scott Coker.

"Scott, can you confirm the winner of Fedor vs Rogers will fight for the HW Title."

11:12am - Conference Starts.

Coker thanks everyone for being here.  Fedor vs Rogers is being co-promoted with M-1 Global and Strikeforce aired live on CBS.

I'll turn it over to Mitch. Media Questions

Question for Brett: Do you think Fedors current Marriage will affect his training.  The timing of preparing for the belt....(its not for a belt nice job brett!) Have you been studying tape?

Brett: Yes I have been.  I have been training three months for this guy.  I feel like I know him. I am going to be focused and have my head strait.  He's not going to be able to stand up with me. I have been studying the game for 6 months now.

Question for Fedor: Do you ever get nervous during or before a fight?

Answer: Sometimes the day before but its just human feelings.

Question for Fedor: Do you plan on visiting the russian areas of Chicago?

Answer: Not before the fight but after the fight I will try to visit some places.

Question for Fedor: You were at the Bears game, do you feel like you would make a good football player?

Answer: The game was interesting, but the games on TV are more exciting. If I could play American football, I don't know.  When you look at it from the sides it looks like it is easy but I don't think I would have the energy for it. Maybe with my friends.

Question for Brett and Fedor: Who do you think the crowd will be cheering for on Saturday?

Brett's Answer: Im hoping the fans will cheer for me.  I will have a lot of followers following me.

Question for Scott Coker: Is it hard to market Fedor over here in the states?

Scott Coker: You have the number one HW fighter in the world fighting the number 6 HW fighter in the world.  If Fedor lived in American we would take him to a lot of our shows.

Question for Brett:  What was your primary source of income while training for this fight?

Brett Answer: I don't work for Sam's club anymore.  I'm just training.

Question Brett: How did you live change since knocking out Arlovski?

Answer: Top sponsors, tv show deals, everyone notices me.  It is great!

Question for Fedor: What do you say to fighters who say your a sloppy fighter?

Fedor Answer: Maybe when you look from the sides it looks more vivid.

Question for Brett: Why did you align with knockout dogfighting.

Brett Answer: I am a cat man, always wanted a dog and it felt like the right thing to do.

Question for Brett: How does it feel to be the under dog?

Brett Answer: Hopefully i'll have more respect on paper after this fight, im focused on winning this fight.

Do you expect this fight to end quickly?

Brett Answer: Yes.

Question for Scott: Do you have interest for Alexander?

Scott Answer: If he can get cleared to fight by the sanctioning body then yes but until then, no.

Question for Fedor: Is there a reason you like to train outdoors as opposed to training in expensive gyms?

Fedor Answer: That's how I have always trained and that is what I prefer to train.

Question for Fedor: Brett is a standup fighter, how do you plan on fighting him for this strategy?

Answer for Fedor: Brett is very strong opponent and I plan on working and preparing the way I normally do.

Question for Fedor: How is fighting in a cage going to affect your striking game?

Fedor Answer: Doesnt matter if im in a ring or a cage.

Brett Answer: I will use the cage to my advantage.

Question for Scott: 85% of ticket sales. event holds 12,000.

Question for Fedor: Who has he been training with in the U.S.?

Fedor Answer: Ten days before the fight we arrive. Train in the gym at the hotel.  I work out with my coaches and we do not train with any American Fighters.

Question for Scott: What has M-1 done to help promote this event

Sott's Answer: M-1 helped out with the International marketing of this event.  This event will be airing in over 40 countries over the world on national television.

Question for Brett: Can you announce any television deals?

Brett Answer: I turned down Bully Beatdown, I turned down A-team because I want to focus on my fighting.

Question for Fedor: Do you feel that it will be different fighting on national television from when you fought in Pride and Affliction.

Fedor Answer: These are entirely different cultures and people so yes it will be different.  American audience is different from the audience in Japan.  I really like fighting here in America.  I can see a very warm reception.

Question for Fedor: What obstacles are you going to have to overcome to beat Brett?

Fedor Answer: I have been fighting for a long time now and sometimes If I don't know something I have to feel it out and I know that Brett's strong point is his punch.

Question for Scott Coker: How do you measure this event to be successful?

Scott Answer: There is the sponsor gauge, ad sales gauge, ticket sales gauge, but more importantly we are looking to se an amazing fight.  That is perhaps the biggest gauge.

I had a question to ask but they totally bypassed me and let some kid go, who asked Brett Rogers if he could give him any advice when it comes to wrestling!

That is really annoying.  I wanted to ask if this fight will contest who will fight for the title next and if that changes the landslide for any of the fighters. If I find out I will post it.

That concludes this media conference.
